Kitchen Aid Celebrates 100 Years with A Piece Of Cake

Kitchen Aid, arguably one of the world’s top culinary appliance brands, recently celebrated their 100th anniversary at Ayala Malls Vertis North. While it may be their birthday, they decided that it’s for everyone to celebrate which is why they’ve teamed up with A Piece Of Cake to bring patrons an exciting event. To commemorate their milestone, they unveiled their new Queen of Hearts Collection alongside the live demo and book signing of Chef Aileen and Chef Miko’s A Piece of Cake book.

Chef Miko puts his stamp on the avant-garde version of the Black Forest

They started off the party with the unveiling of the limited edition Queen of Hearts Collection. Each item in the collection stands out with its deep cherry red color and miniature red heart designs. Chefs Miko and Aileen then proceeded to talk about their brainchild – A Piece of Cake. The book is a comprehensive guide on desserts containing over 50 dessert concepts with 2 executions each – one classic and one modern. The lucky guests got to witness two of those recipes  demonstrated in the event.

Classic or modern, take your pick

Participants even got the chance to have their newly purchased books signed

What made this book launch unique from all the others is that instead of the usual New York Cheesecake, the two pastry chefs demonstrated their own versions of the Black Forest cake. After the demo, patrons got a chance to buy a copy of the book and had it signed by the two authors themselves. To make things even more exciting, Kitchen Aid even raffled off some exclusive KitchenAid items to lucky winners.

KitchenAid and A Piece of Cake definitely know how to throw a 100th anniversary celebration.
